Trotters Gorge

Friday, July 31st, we took a short drive to the Trotters Gorge reserve to look around. It was a warm, sunny day but the forest walk was cool and dark. The picture above is a "Where's Dan?" picture. Can you spot him?

This giant tree had a Tarzan-type vine wrapped around it just asking for an action shot.

There were a couple of these short caves along the walk. In this area, we could hear several wood pigeons but had some trouble spotting them amongst all the foliage.

This sign was on the road to Trotters Gorge. Of course being a wild pig hunting area is probably where the reserve got its name. We didn't see any pigs, wild or not.

We weren't sure if this was a joke or not. Or if someone was trying to keep the wild pigs for themselves by calling them pets.
