The penguins spent a lot of time in the shallow water near the beach. I'm not sure if they were just playing or actually catching food or something else.
They would keep going back and forth from the beach to the water, usually in groups.
Hanging out on the rocks.
Trying to avoid eye contact?
A couple of these guys stayed in the same places forever, preening feathers, while others were constantly moving around.
The movers were
definitely more interesting.
Sometimes they got up in each others face though. This guy ran up to this pair and just butted in.
So they took off at a slow waddle.
And let the other guy join them anyway.
