Merinos

There were merino sheep all over Cardrona Valley near the ski fields. Not actually on the ski fields but very close.

They are so cute! We can't say that to most Kiwis since they think of sheep as an industry here, but come on! Look how woolly they are and those curly horns.

We got out and were watching them while wearing our merino wool sweaters. Dan is actually baa-ing in this picture, explaining the weird expression.

Then they all started coming down the hill towards us hoping we had food. Sorry sheep, no food here.
