This hut had a nice drying rack that could be raised and lowered like a chandelier. We hung up all our sweaty clothes for reuse the next day. We were all starting to stink a little.
Here's the kitchen area with all our mess everywhere. Lots of instant noodles and hot cocoa - we were starving after hiking all day. Thankfully, we were the only ones using the hut. It has enough room for about 20 people so we felt fortunate not having to share.
Lexie and Dan search for mussels and shells in Paterson Inlet while the tide is out, and the sun is setting. Lots of shells in this area just like at Maori Beach including the very exciting "mermaid's bikini top"-type shells. You can't find those on Dunedin beaches.
