Sunday, November 23th, Dan, Lexie and I took a short hike on the Peninsula. We hiked from Sandymount down the hill to Sandfly Bay (a remote beach) and then back. Hiking through sand dunes is really really hard!
The trail leads from the top of the hill in the back of the picture, down that sand dune path, and over what seems like miles of sand to the beach. Of course, going back up was much worse.

The beach was full of sea lions which were very entertaining.
They were hiding in the sand and then occasionally one (like that big one there) would get up and head towards the water.
Not sure how Dan got this close to one since we barely have a zoom on our camera. funny sea lions. It was a great sunny day to be on the beach. Climbing back up the sand dunes to the car was a challenge though. My legs were aching all week.
