Oops! Fathers day is not celebrated in NZ so Danny & I both forgot to call/send cards for Fathers day this year. Without Hallmark, who is supposed to remember these dates?? So Happy Fathers Day to our dads and brothers who are dads -- keep up the good work.
You may have noticed the blog has been a bit thin lately. Petrol is now $2.19/litre here & sort of slowing down how many road trip weekends we are taking. Also the weather is cold and rainy being winter. We've spent the last two weekends in town hanging out. Dan's been working on research etc, and I've been shopping (not much here really) and checking out the art museum & things like that.
We did go to our local (next door) cinema the other night where everyone dresses up (really, dresses for the movies?) and we ate ice cream like real Kiwis.
