We took a drive this Sunday along the coast south of Dunedin near Taieri Mouth -- the ocean was rough looking and the beaches deserted.
This is the view overlooking Waihola, a small town beside a big lake. We were sort of bad this weekend. We snuck out of church early due to some very bad contemporary praise music accompanied by interpretive ribbon dancing. Then we took the car for a drive with the heat blasting to warm up (since the church was absolutely freezing...actually colder than outside) and then stopped at McDonalds drive-thru for burgers & fries & soda - comfort food. yum.
